Welcome, we put this site together
to hopefully
allow the residents of West Kirby and surrounding areas to be able to
communicate on a wide range of issues. It also provides
links
to useful resources. If you know of any other resources that should be added
please email them to us or post a message under miscellaneous on the
forums.
One reason that prompted us to build this site
was the proposed development known as 'The Sail' on West Kirby Promenade, along
with the Aldi proposal and other changes it became clear that local residents
might not have much say, if any in these developments. West Kirby is a
prosperous small community and fortunately does not need to attract investment
to the same level as other parts of the Wirral, however there are good profits
to be made by developers who are able to get permission to build here.
Although the owners of this site have no
connection with any political parties or campaigning groups we are keen to help
keep West Kirby special and have a leaning towards issues of climate change and
sustainability. We are not doing this for profit and will try our best to allow
all voices and opinions to be heard .
