West Kirby is leading the way

Do check out the West Kirby Transition Town web site http://www.transitiontownwestkirby.org.uk/ This group are leading the way on Peak Oil and Climate change.
The wider Transition movement, started in Totnes in the UK has some very interesting articles and videos. Find out more here at the transition wiki http://transitiontowns.org/TransitionNetwork/TransitionNetwork
I'm very proud to be in an area that is making an effort in a crucial area ahead of the rest of the nation.
West Kirby needs to think hard about these issues, rising sea levels may have a dramatic effect on the town, assuming rising oil prices don't see us off first.
